Reader’s Choice Awards: Rebecca Caudill

The PBL Junior High Library participates in the annual Reader’s Choice Award: Rebecca Caudill program though AISLE. Each year, teachers and librarians from around the state of Illinois put together a list of 20 books they think are great reads for students grades 4th-8th, which become the nominees. In the spring, students get to vote on which book was their favorite from the list. Votes from all over the state are compiled, and the book with the most votes wins the award!

We are currently reading for the 2019 award! To vote in the coming spring,Β  students need to read at least 3 of the nominated books and responded to the short prompt featured for each book. Visit the 2019 Rebecca Caudill Nominees blog to get information about each book and to respond to the prompts. See Ms. Bird if you have any questions.
