Who’s ready?! Our annual Fall Book Fair brought to us by Scholastic is on its way! The trucks will begin deliveries next week! Our Fall Book Fair will be open for shopping starting Monday, September 21 through Friday September 25. As always, we would like to thank our wonderful PBL Education Foundation for sponsoring the fair by providing each and every junior high student with a $5 coupon toward any book purchase. With the variety of bargain titles available, that means that every student should walk away with at least one book!
This year you can also purchase books online at our very own Book Fair Homepage. All purchases will still go toward our school’s profit and will be delivered free of charge to your student at school. Online purchases can be made starting September 16th -September 29th.
We are VERY EXCITED to also announce our 2nd annual Edible Books Festival happening on Thursday, September 24th. Last year our students and families did an AMAZING job recreating the covers of the Caudill books, so we invite you to participate again! For those of you who missed out last year: The book fair will be open for families to come shop from after school until 7pm, and during that time, the Edible Books Festival will be happening right outside the library doors. JH students and staff can create edible representations of their favorite books and compete to win in one of four categories: Most Appetizing, Funniest, Best Children’s Picture Book, and Best Representation of a 2015 or 2016 Caudill book. Winners will receive a free book from the fair! Submissions can be brought in from 5:30-6:00 PM. Voting will start at 6:00 PM, and winners will be announced by 7:00 PM. Come enjoy the fun, and SHOP, SHOP, SHOP!
